// description

As the director of computational technologies at Gensler, I am responsible for the overall strategy and implementation of computational processes for the entire firm, leading a small but powerful team of innovators, creatives, and product specialists.

A selection of key accomplishments include:

  • Founding creator of the proprietary NFORM ecosystem of data-driven design products, including gBlox, Gensler’s internal agile conceptual design platform, now in version 3.0 and used on 1000+ projects

  • Product leadership of an extended toolkit for very large masterplanning at scale, used on projects as large as 200 million SF of built area

  • Product leadership of our proprietary data-driven Carbon Assessment platform for early design

  • Co-leader of global AI innovation initiatives, overall strategy, and implementation

  • Development and deployment of a proprietary generative AI platform on Gensler’s private cloud

  • Project engagements and computational and A.I. strategy leadership on some of the firm’s largest and most important projects and pursuits

We don’t release a lot of our material publicly, but gBlox was released publicly in 2019 and gBlox and the NFORM ecosystem garnered Gensler a spot on Fast Company’s World’s Most Innovative Architecture Firm list, as well as numerous other local innovation awards from local and global organizations, such as the Singapore Business Journal.
