// description
The project grows out of an ongoing line of inquiry in my research into parametric systems designed for maximum painterly control over architectural tectonics. This project is less concerned with complex formal geometries than it is with generating sophisticated effects with finite systems. In this project, the surface as boundary is dismantled through the use of a system of torqued pyramidal frustums.
There are only four unique square units in the system, but rotation and color creates a large palette of options, revealing the thickness of the surface and providing a medium with architectural depth. The system offers full parametric control over painterly effects such as composition, color, and brush stroke.
